an Antonio Scorpions Logo Down to 3; What’s Your Favorite?

The San Antonio Scorpions have been conducting a contest to name the team and now to create a logo for the team. Over 300 entries were turned in for a logo. A panel of judges have narrowed that number down to three and now you have the chance to vote. Voting is open from today, Feb, 15 through the 28. The winning logo will be unveiled in early March.

I try not to openly solicit my readers opinions but I am curious what you think of these three designs. While the first of the three would be my choice I think my readers know that I believe we are past the stage in this country were we have to put the black and white 1970’s style soccer ball on each and every logo. There are lots of teams and sports that don’t use a ball or puck on their logos. And if you need to use a ball, come up with something more creative than the black and white Buckyball.

If you click on the logos you will be directed to the San Antonio Scorpion’s website where you can vote.

The San Antonio Scorpions are a proposed team with the NASL and plan to play in the 2012 season when Montreal moves to MLS.
