Every year, prior to the State High School Tournament, the Minnesota State High School Soccer Coaches Association (MSHSSCA) awards the Mr. and Ms. Soccer Award to a recipient who is deemed the best overall player in the State. These awards are handed out to both the boys and girls and for Class A and for Class AA and are decided by the coaches who are members of the MSHSSCA.
