Austin FC Are Trying Something Different

One of the most important things you can do, or be, in the world of football is different. If you’re nothing more than a carbon copy of another team, fan, player or even franchise, then what are you even doing with yourself? Austin FC is set to be one of those new franchises, and straight off the bat, this is a move that we absolutely love. If you know anything about the United States of America, and Texas specifically, then you’ll be well aware of the fact that Austin is an absolutely incredible city. For any and all needs you may have or ever aspire to have, Austin is the place that you should definitely be visiting.

They’re set to enter the league within the next few years, and with that, they’ll be opening a brand new 20,500 seater stadium which will begin construction imminently. As reported by Pro Soccer USA, though, this isn’t just any other stadium.

The primary goal behind the building of the stadium is to allow for an ‘inside-outside’ type of experience, which we just absolutely love. The design plans alone make it feel like a really homely place with a great environment, which will settle in perfectly to a city like Austin that has just been waiting for an influx of life when it comes to sports.

The excitement grows

It already sounds like they’ve got a great fanbase brewing up, just waiting to pile into this new ground on the first day of their journey. That’s a great position to be in, and from an outsider’s perspective looking in, it already feels like this club is going to be a popular ‘second team’ for many fans throughout the MLS.

As reported by Austin Chronicle, it also seems as if their influence isn’t only contained to the football pitch itself. Austin FC is clearly going to be a franchise that cares deeply about charity and everything that encompasses that, as you can tell by this report which indicates and highlights their plans for the future.

Along the way with a project like this, you’re always going to have folks that want to poke holes in every single little thing you do, but to be perfectly honest, that’s just the way of the world. Austin is a booming city that seems to have everything possible going for it at this moment in time, and it doesn’t seem like that surge of momentum is going to die down anytime soon.
